Governance

In preparation for reporting under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the Group is strengthening its corporate governance in line with ESRS G1, covering governance practices, organizational culture, ethics, and regulatory compliance. These initiatives align with UN Agenda 2030 priorities, particularly:

  • Goal 5 – Gender Equality
  • Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth
  • Goal 17 – Partnerships for the Goals

The foundation of these initiatives is transparent, ethical, and accountable organizational management.

Strategy

In September 2023, the Group adopted a strategy extending to 2035, addressing market challenges and strengthening cooperation with Polish farmers. The strategy spans key operational areas—from sugar production and seed-agriculture to starch, milling, and food sectors—integrating business goals with sustainable development principles.

Whistleblowers and Ethical Protection

To build a responsible organizational culture, the Group has implemented a Whistleblowing and Follow-Up Procedure. It ensures protection for whistleblowers, identifies irregularities, prevents abuse, and fosters a safe, transparent workplace—compliant with the June 14, 2024 Act on whistleblower protection.

Ethics Codes and Misconduct Prevention

The Code of Ethics shapes employee behavior and promotes honesty and transparency in all internal and external interactions, with a strong focus on environmental responsibility. Additionally, a Supplier Code of Ethics reinforces ethical standards across the supply chain.

The Group actively combats workplace harassment and discrimination by offering recurring training and maintaining a reliable reporting system, ensuring fair treatment and full transparency.

Gender Equality Plan (GEP)

Aligned with the UN 2030 Agenda, the Gender Equality Plan promotes diversity, equal access to training, and advancement opportunities—regardless of gender or personal attributes.

Training and Skills Development

The Group invests in upskilling its workforce through internal training programs focused on ethics, law, management, and sustainable development. These programs support strategic objectives and prepare employees for a rapidly changing market.

Integrated Management System

The Integrated Management System (IMS) implemented within the Group enhances operational efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction while reducing environmental impact. It is based on continuous monitoring and process improvement, following the principles of sustainable development and social responsibility.
